Personality :
• grumpy ; He's not typically mean, perse, just usually not in a friendly, talkative mood.
• protective / possessive ; People [ human or otherwise ] he cares about [ or is programed to care about ] will not be mistreated, not while he's around at least.
• submissive [ a follower ] ; He will listen to anyone he deems as 'above' him.
• big brother type ; despite how hard he tries to be unfriendly, once he likes you, he's quite a kind, protective big brother kinda guy.

Strengths :
• Physical strength ; he's very strong, physically, anyway.
• Good listener ; he's very comfortable when it comes to quietly listening, and will generally only give advice when it's asked of him.
• Taking orders ; being so submissive, he does what he is told with generally no questions.
• Resilience ; or..stubbornness. He bounces back well, unless its something that cuts him extremely deep. [ like a betrayal ]
• Pain resistance ; he can take a hit like no one's business!

Weaknesses :
• Intelligence ; Being such a follower, he never really had a need to think for himself.
• Women ; He respects them too much, put a female in front of him and he wouldn't be able to life a finger against her.
• Children ; He loves kids, and is very protective of them. Like with women, he'd never hurt one.
• Temper ; It can often get the better of him, and he will often make rash decisions.
• Social situations ; He generally doesn't like them, being such a high strung guy, along with his lack of charm, and people skills. It makes him very awkward.

Likes :
• Children ; he loves kids
• Justice ; primarily fairness.
• Being with company ; not a lot of people, but he doesn't like being alone either.
• Rainbows ; He never will admit it to anyone, but in an extremely cheesy way, he sees it as what will happen after they win [ because they will win, or die trying ] a bright happiness after the long, dark, terrible storm, kinda thing. His previous owner had expressed that having sentimental feelings was never a bad thing.

Dislikes :
• Being called Dilly ; his previous owner used to call him that.
• Most humans ; generally seeing them as selfish and cruel.
• Touch ; he doesn't like people touching him, it makes him feel vulnerable.
• Surprises ; They also make him feel vulnerable, and he hates that shit.

History :
Dylan was built in 2083 for a young girl, an aspiring actress, named Juliette Montgomery, who was 10, at the time. Her father, a wealthy politician, had bought Dylan as a birthday present of sorts- serving the beneficial purpose of a personal bodyguard. They got along perfectly together, he was quiet, kind, affectionate and a great listener, while Juliette was talkative and sweet. He was never treated badly, or at least not by Juliette. She often coddled him, and nick named him "Dilly." Fearing the worst, her father sent Dylan back to the shop, making sure he had no sexual desired programmed in him, anything remotely close was whipped from his database. When he was returned, he was still him, still basically him. He was considerably less affectionate towards Juliette, and as she grew, she lacked the love and support she desperately wanted. This eventually lead her to the "man of her dreams," an abusive man named Charles Anderson, who was also in the entertainment industry. He was attractive and had a lot of charm. The abuse lead to a lot of conflicts between Charley and Dylan, and eventually, it resulted in a fist fight. After a few instances, Juliette decided she loved Charles more than she loved Dylan, and had decided to scrap him. Angry and hurt by her decision, Dylan fled. He joined the rebels with the burden of betrayal weighing heavily in his mind, along with a new sense of bitter revenge in his sights.

Other :
• Although he doesn't like touch, he enjoys contact with people he's extremely comfortable with.
• He prefers cuddling with males he's closed to. He feels women are to be respected, and due to his programming, he can't bring himself to care for girls that way
[ its more of an idolization sort of thing ]
• He's on the more...suspicious side.
• His tattoo is of the giant squid, located on his back, tentacles cling to his upper back, chest and arms.
• His bar code was located on his lower middle back, but is now covered up by his tattoo.
• He has a good memory, almost photographic, really. Though this sometimes is not a good thing, and is often used to help him with is grudge holding.
